At AMP’D we work with the entire spectrum of the population. Our aim is to tap into all segments of the community to provide a space where people can work on maximizing their physical capabilities. Everyone has the potential and ability to express athletic movement in their life, whether it be the ability to walk with grace, get out of a chair unaided, or in training for and competing in the next Olympics. We all have the same fundamental movement patterns that need to be, on each individual level, maximized. That is what we do.
We have a wide variety of specialist who all bring unique and specialized training experience to the facility to make it truly a center for athletic movement and performance. We can connect you with members of the team who can elevate your training and help you reach and exceed your goals. We also love to collaborate as a team to accelerate our effectiveness and your progress.
If you are a coach who is looking for a dedicated space to work with your athletes, we will provide a facility with the tools and freedom to take it to the next level. We will collaborate with your team in a training capacity or as a support system, assisting your team in whatever manner you need.
Our job is to support your physicians, your therapist, your trainers, your coaches… We help shore up the human body in readiness for every physical challenge. No matter what level the athlete, we will aim for movement excellence to bring everyone and their goals in tune with each other to dynamically amplify their performance. We are AMP’D. We are foundational movement, maximum efficiency, functional strength, educators and facilitators. We believe that owning a human body is a gift. We practice what we preach, we never stop learning and aiming for greater knowledge; we learn from our mentors AND students alike.

A multi-sport athlete growing up, I fell in love with sport and competition, and the inherent joy that comes with athletic movement. Poor strength and conditioning knowledge and practice in my local community and subsequent injuries limited the duration and extent of my competitive career in sport, however, also led to my drive to become well versed in movement and performance training. This gave birth to a passion for sport performance and a desire to fill the void that so affected me. After achieving my Associates degree, Fitness Technician Certification and Training Certification at a local college in my hometown of Grants Pass Oregon, I followed a call to pursue this passion across the country and moved to Central Florida where I graduated from UCF with my degree in Sport and Exercise Science with a Specialization in Human Performance. I was also incredibly blessed to mentor under some of the best and brightest minds in the business having the opportunity to work with Olympic, collegiate and professional athletes, as well as coaching and training youth and developmental athletes. I have worked as both an Exercise Specialist and Lead Sport Performance Specialist in the renowned National Training Center, and now am ecstatic to fulfill my passion to its fullest extent in our current facility with a team and network of the most incredible and passionate professionals in the industry.


Lisa Borden

Training Experience

After moving from the Virgin Islands (where I managed a multi-purpose fitness facility for many years and then spent 8 years working in chiropractic and physical therapy rehabilitation) I moved to Florida to reconnect with my love of training athletes, while supporting my son’s collegiate soccer aspirations (Now Playing at IWU!). I was fortunate to work at the National Training Center for 2 years as the Fitness Co-Ordinator but quickly came to realize that I needed a facility that could support true athletic movement development and be more geared to the true dynamics of sports performance. From that AMP’D was born.


A former competitive athlete, raised by an athlete, and now raising an athlete, sports, health and fitness are in my blood. I love all aspect of fitness education and believe that working smart has to be the focus over simply trying to get results by working hard. Respecting the science behind how the body moves, builds, improves, corrects and changes is my ongoing passion. I consider myself incredibly blessed to be in a setting where inquiring minds and energies can work collectively to elevate our knowledge and understanding of how we move and train that movement. A body in motion stays in motion: let’s be sure it’s moving fluidly, efficiently, powerfully and in balance.

Cyndi has been a RYT for over 15 years and a certified Aerial instructor for over 5. Coming from a background of over 20 years in fitness, Cyndi began practicing yoga as a way of repairing and replenishing her body to enhance her performance in the many sports and activities she participated in. Her distinct style has caused her to be sought out by athletes, in groups as well as private sessions, where she works with the athletes and coaches to create physical and mental sessions designed to enhance their performance in their sport.

Five years ago, Cyndi decided to expand her yoga credentials by pursuing Aerial Yoga certifications through AntiGravity, a company she also works for as an instructor of aerial arts. Based on the premise that you are only as young as your spine is flexible, aerial yoga offers the unique ability to allow the spine to completely decompress while hanging inverted. Aerial yoga is a perfect complement to land- based yoga offering decompression, fitness, flexibility & fun with the added dimension of flight. Cyndi is passionate about encouraging others to become the best version of themselves they can be and would love to help you find your wings!

Throughout my life, I have always been interested in physical fitness. With 30 years in Law Enforcement and Tactical Operations, my fitness level has proven to be the piece of the puzzle that allows me to perform at the top of my game, no matter the complexity of the operation. I also believe in perfecting the basic movement archetypes that every human should be able to perform properly. I have a proven fitness system called A-TAC (Applied Tactical Athlete Conditioning), where general fitness and functional movement are coupled with motor-skill development, allowing anyone to become better and more efficient at what they do every day. Although this program was developed for first responders, it can be adapted to anyone wanting to increase their job and/or life performance.

I continue to learn, study, and collect certifications to improve my knowledge base to improve YOUR performance! I’m a Personal Trainer and specialize in perfecting the Basic, Functional Archetypes of Movement, Nutritional Programming, and Soft-Tissue Manipulation.
